Privacy Policy
Effective January 1, 2027 • Document Control: SOP-PRIV-004 Rev. 2.0
Apex Vector LLC collects aerial data only for authorized client missions, and handles that data responsibly. This page explains what we collect through this website and during flight operations, and how we protect it. The binding terms for client projects are in our Master Services Agreement and Data Collection & Imagery Licensing Addendum.
Information You Send Through This Website
When you submit a project request, we receive the details you enter: your name or organization, email address, project location, project size, requested services, and any notes. If you used one of our calculators first, your estimate is included too.
Project requests are delivered to our email inbox through FormSubmit, a third-party form-forwarding service. We use this information only to respond to your request, prepare a quote, and plan your mission. We do not sell it, add you to marketing lists, or share it with anyone else.
This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking analytics.
What We Collect During Missions
- High-resolution visual (RGB) still imagery and 4K video.
- Thermal or multispectral data, only when an aircraft equipped with that sensor is used for your mission.
- Geospatial metadata, such as GPS coordinates, altitude, and camera settings.
- Point clouds, maps, and models generated during processing.
- Aircraft flight logs and telemetry.
How We Limit Collection
Flight plans are designed to focus on the authorized site and to respect adjacent property lines, privacy, and livestock safety. Cameras and sensors are not intentionally aimed at non-participating residences, vehicles, or people. When identifiable people or license plates are incidentally captured, we blur them in final deliverables unless identification is required by contract and lawful.
What We Do Not Do
We do not use drone data for facial recognition, biometric identification, or tracking individuals. We do not sell or share collected data with data brokers or marketers. We disclose client data to third parties only with the client’s consent, to service providers bound by confidentiality (such as secure cloud storage and processing software), or when required by law.
Security and Retention
Client data is stored in access-controlled, encrypted storage and delivered through secure download links or physical media. Client project data is retained for three (3) years after delivery and then deleted, unless the client purchases extended archival or asks us to delete it sooner. Flight logs and aircraft maintenance records are kept for at least five (5) years for safety, insurance, and regulatory purposes.
Questions and Requests
Privacy questions, data access requests, and deletion requests can be sent to travis@apexvectoruas.com.
We may update this policy as our services change. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
